SelAction
The SelAction is a small bar that appears when you select text on a page. It offers what starts from a selection: emailing it, transforming it, copying it, looking it up.
Turning the SelAction on Advanced
The SelAction is turned off at install.
- Settings → Toolbox, SelAction tab.
- Turn the switch on. The tab's dot turns green.
- Choose what it shows: SmartMails, SmartClips, quick actions (see below).
Automatic or with a key Advanced

If the bar gets in your way when you select to copy, switch to manual: it will only come when you call it.
Minimum selection length Advanced
In automatic mode, the bar only appears if the selection is longer than a number of characters (3 by default). Raise it so that double-clicking a word doesn't make it pop up.
SmartMails on a selection Advanced
The SelAction can offer your SmartMails, sorted by category. A SmartMail that contains the {{selection}} field takes the selected text — in the body, the subject or the recipient.
Camille selects a customer's address in a ticket, then picks “Reply — case received” in the SelAction: the email opens addressed to the customer.
- Turn on SmartMails.
- SelAction tab: tick Show SmartMail on text selection.
SmartClips Expert
SmartClips transform the selection and copy the result. Tick SmartClips in the SelAction: they appear by category, above the SmartMails.
Quick actions Advanced
The SelAction also shows the quick actions: copy the selection, turn it into a SmartText, look it up in a service. The SelAction display style can be set: Icons + text, or Icons only for a more compact bar.
The SelAction on certain sites only Expert Pro
Settings → Restrictions, SelAction line. The restriction also applies to the SmartMails it shows. See Site restrictions.
