The tools
RightClick
RightClick adds a Modula menu to Chrome's right-click menu: your SmartTexts sorted by category, and shortcuts to create a SmartText from what you're reading. Nothing to memorise, nothing to open.
Inserting a SmartText by category Basic
- Right-click in the field where the text should go.
- Open the Modula submenu, then the category.
- Click the SmartText.
Categories appear with their icon, in the order chosen on the Categories page; “No category” always comes last. In each category, favourites (★) come first, then alphabetical order. A 📋 icon marks a copy-only SmartText.
If all your items are in a single category, they appear directly under Modula, without a submenu.
SmartMails Advanced
If SmartMails are turned on, they appear in the same categories, after the SmartTexts and marked ✉. A click opens your email program with the email ready.
Adding the selection as a SmartText Basic
Reading a text you'll want to reuse? Select it, right-click, + Add selection as SmartText. The editor opens with the text as content: give it a title, save.
Camille finds the refund procedure in her company's knowledge base. She selects it and adds it as a SmartText, ready for the next customer request.
… or as a SmartMail Advanced
With SmartMails turned on, the menu also offers + Add selection as SmartMail: the selection becomes the body of a new SmartMail.
Creating a SmartMail from an email link Advanced
Right-click a link that opens an email (a mailto: link), then 📧 Create a SmartMail from this mailto link: the link's recipients, subject and body fill in a new SmartMail. See SmartMails.
Quick actions Advanced
When text is selected, the 🚀 Quick actions submenu offers the actions you chose to show there: search for the selection in Google Maps, Google or your own services. See Quick actions.
A menu that depends on the site Expert Pro
The menu only shows the categories allowed on the open site: your customer support templates don't clutter the menu on your online bank. See A category's allowed sites.
