Bin
A deleted item doesn't disappear right away: it spends 30 days in the bin, from which you can restore it. Every plan has a bin.
Opening the bin Basic
The 🗑 Bin button, next to the create button in the SmartTexts, SmartMail and Categories tabs, opens it; it shows how many items it contains.
Each item shows when it was deleted and how many days it has left. After 30 days, it is erased for good, along with its history.
Restoring Basic
Click Restore next to an item, or tick several and click Restore selection. The item comes back with its history; if its category has disappeared in the meantime, it is recreated.
On the Free plan, an item in the bin doesn't count towards the limit, but restoring it does: the restore is refused if it would exceed 20 SmartTexts or 5 SmartMails.
Deleting permanently, emptying Advanced
Delete permanently erases the ticked items, and Empty the bin erases all of it. There's no going back: the items and their history are erased.
Useful if you deleted an item that contained sensitive information and don't want it to stay on the computer.
